Letofsky, Lilligren pick up support

AFSCME Council 5 has made endorsements in two key contests. The politically powerful union, which represents 40,000 workers statewide, is backing Robert Lilligren in the Ward 6 race and Cara Letofsky in Ward 2. The latter is likely to be more significant given that Letofsky faces two other challengers for the DFL endorsement.
AFSCME is also backing mayoral challenger Peter McLaughlin.
