The National Right to Life Committee's
33rd annual convention
will take place at the Bloomington Sheraton June 16th through the 18th.
The event will be held in conjunction with the NRLC Youth Outreach
program, which is designed to "educate teens and students about
pro-life issues." (Notice they don't dare use the term "contraception.") The
three-day fetus and vegetable festival promises a tribute to Terri Schiavo (and an
appearance by her brother), as well as 70 workshops and 30 exhibits.
It's hard to imagine what these "exhibits" might be, but somehow we
suspect there's not a diorama display dedicated to a life shackled by poverty.
