Retail giant doesn't want more California-style PR disasters

According to Chris Serres in today's Strib, Wal-Mart is applying serious lobbying pressure to keep the state of Minnesota from compiling and publishing a list of the companies whose employees use the most state aid to make up shortfalls in income and health care coverage.
