Brian Herron, celebrating his 50th birthday with friends and family at BabaLu in the North Loop neighborhood last night. The former Minneapolis City Council member, who served a year in federal prison after pleading guilty to extortion, was dressed in a sharp, double-breasted, all-white suit. "Friends and family stand by you," Herron observed.
