Hennepin County puts Lex Luger in a choke hold

Categories: Crime
Pro wrestler Lex Luger was placed in the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility last Tuesday after being denied access to Canada. Luger was arrested at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport for allegedly breaching conditions of his probation and is being held without bail. According to the Winnipeg Sun, Luger, whose real name is Lawrence Pfohl, has a Dec. 22 court date in Minnesota and will then be extradited to his home state of Georgia. The incident stems from the Cobb County Sheriff's Office in Georgia issuing a warrant for Luger's arrest after he allegedly violated a condition of his probation with respect to possession of illegal steroids. He plead guilty to the possession charge earlier this year. Action Wrestling Entertainment promoter Mike Davidson, who had booked Luger for two events at the University of Manitoba, stated the incident would likely end AWE's relationship with Luger.
