Wonkette leaves eponymous blog to write second book

Ana Marie Cox, who posts at the popular political blog Wonkette, will be stepping down later this month after signing a second book deal. Her debut novel, Dog Days, was released today to favorable reviews. Cox's second book will apparently be a nonfiction dissertation on the next generation of political activists. Taking her place at Wonkette will be David Lat, a 30-year-old lawyer who used to pen the blog Underneath Their Robes. Lat wrote UTB anonymously until he was outed last November.
