Crime blotter: tastes like chicken

On Tuesday, Maple Grove police officers arrested 32-year-old Robert Daniel Anderson for allegedly offering a forged check at a Walgreen's pharmacy. After the Woodbury resident was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters, the cops realized that the disputed check was missing. Upon checking surveilance video of the booking room, according to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court, Anderson was witnessed removing a small piece of paper from the case report and eating it. He is charged with one count of forgery.
