Behind every grasping, sneaky, discredited man, there is a strong woman

Money Magazine has released its annual list of the 50 most powerful women in America, and Minnesota's own Lois Quam--the grand poobah of United Health Care's multi-billion-dollar seniors division, Ovation--is number 24 on the list. That's 12 places higher than her #36 finish on last year's hit parade (hey, she's only 16 spots behind God) and it surely comes as welcome news in the Quam household, where Mr. Quam (AKA former DFL attorney general candidate Matt Entenza) is currently, um, examining his career options.
