Are the McCain girls eligible? Also turns out the Society of Professional Journalists is dropping some awards on us, and I hope none are "Worst Of" awards.

In tragicomic news, being a meteorologist doesn't mean you have a clue about the earth's climate. CO2 isn't a pollutant, it's a boon for the Earth and all her creatures ... in Bizarro world. Also tragicomic: Rachel Hutton tried a McLatte. I've eaten raw goat and I'm not so sure about that.

On a more serious note, Minnesota has become a leader in treatment for military veterans who commit crimes. This is uniformly good news from my perspective.

Somehow the Chicago Bulls hit the lottery despite having less than a two percent chance to land the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft. This puts the Wolves third in a draft with two marquee players.

Mike Lamb, it's true, is playing badly this year. Judd Spicer floats the possibility of benching Lamb for Nick Punto. That's got to be a joke, right?
