Good News for the Strib: Rupert Murdoch is bullish on newspapers!

Anybody at the Star Tribune who reads Playboy for the articles can take some hope in the fact that Rupert Murdoch believes the rumors of print's death have been greatly exaggerated.

Is print dead?

No, I don't for a minute believe it's dead. It's got a great future. Newspapers will change, but the business model is a good one. It's a great brand and an essential part of a community. Maybe we're getting to the point where you can drop the word paper. It can come out on the internet, it can come out any number of ways, but it will be under your brand.
