Minn. Poll: Obama in the lead, Senate race still a toss up

The latest Quinnipiac University poll shows Sen. Barack Obama leading Sen. John McCain by 11 percentage points (51 percent to 40 percent).

In the U.S. Senate race, Al Franken is leading Sen. Norm Coleman 38 percent to 36 percent. Independence Party candidate Dean Barkley has 18 percent. The Margin of Error is +/- 3.1 percent, which puts the race in a dead heat.
