KSTP will keep the news going late night

Categories: Media

KSTP plans to keep their 11 p.m. broadcast for all of you weekday night owls. Or maybe it's for the normal folks who stay up to catch Conan O'Brien.

The station started a late newscast in October as part of their extended election coverage and plans to keep it as a regular program, according to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

More from the Biz Journal:

“Since we first debuted this newscast back in October, we have seen a 70 percent ratings increase in adults 25 to 54 in this time period,” said news director Lindsay Radford.

The program will air Monday through Thursday from 11:05 to 11:35 p.m. and will be anchored by John Mason and Leah McLean.
