Minnesota Independent's parent company, the Center for Independent Media sent a memo to staffers warning them that "it is imperative that you do not talk to the media yourself about [this week's layoffs and CIM restructuring]. Any violation of this will be grounds for immediate dismissal," according to a memo released on Romenesko.

Yesterday we reported that full timers Molly Priesmeyer and Andy Birkey were laid off from MNIndy and their freelance budget disappeared.

There were also significant layoffs in Colorado.
