Fox News is reporting that more than 20 Somali men from the Twin Cities have left the area, and their families believe they may be fighting in Somalia.

Eight men left Aug.1, followed by 10 more Nov. 4, according to Fox. The men are between the ages of 17 and 22, the story says. Five families reportedly went to the FBI, worried that their children had become part of a jihad, or holy war. The young men left the area without a word.

Somalia erupted into civil war in 1991, and the fighting continues to this day. A religious leader quoted in the story believes that someone is organizing these trips.
