Starbucks reads City Pages? Doubt it.

Yesterday we reported about all of the free stuff companies were handing out to people with their "I Voted" stickers. We quoted the federal law that says no one can give gifts so people vote.
Starbucks was one of the companies doing a free-drink offer for voters, but apparently that promo fizzled. Now all Starbucks guzzlers can get a free small cup of joe. Congrats, felons!
According to their Twitter:
IMPORTANT: To ensure that we are in compliance with election law, we are extending our offer to all customers who request a tall brewed drip
We'd like to pretend this happened because of our post, but we know that's not true. We weren't the only ones talking about it.
