Florida recount expert advising Coleman

Florida recount veteran Benjamin Ginsberg has been advising Norm Coleman during the Minnesota recount for U.S. Senate, The Hill is reporting

Ginsberg played a major role in George W. Bush's legal team during the 2000 presidential recount in Florida. Coleman's campaign confirmed he has been advising them during the current recount.

More from The Hill:
Coleman spokesman Mark Drake said Ginsberg is serving as an advisor to the recount team, which is headed up by Fritz Knaak and Tony Trimble.
When asked whether Ginsberg is new to the effort, Drake said he "has been" advising the incumbent.
Ginsberg, a partner at the Patton Boggs firm in Washington, is a former national counsel to the Bush-Cheney campaigns in 2000 and 2004 and also has served as counsel to the GOP's three major national campaign committees.
Ginsberg had to resign from Bush's team in 2004 when he was busted for also advising the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Whoops. We're waiting for someone to cry foul now.
