Happy Holidays, you're laid off. There are no holiday bonuses for many across the state, but some people won't even have a job come Christmas. There have been many layoff announcements since yesterday that we thought we'd compile them all in one post. If you were laid off, you aren't alone. And if you still have a job, be thankful. Who was axed? See the biggest below.

Bad day for health care workers in Twin Cities
From Star Tribune: Park Nicollet Health Services and North Memorial Health Care said Monday they will cut more than 600 jobs. They cited falling business and rising bad debt as more patients lose their health benefits in the bad economy. By the end of the week, St. Louis Park-based Park Nicollet will cut 233 employees, or almost 3 percent of its workforce, while North Memorial Health Care in Robbinsdale is eliminating 380 jobs, or 7 percent of its employees.

Jobs in Minnesota were spared, but Denny Hecker closed lots in eight states after filing for bankruptcy in his Advantage Rent-A-Car business.

3M Co. cut more than 1,800 jobs across the country since the start of the fourth quarter. 3M, based in Maplewood, said the cuts include "several hundred" at their headquarters, but were mainly in developed economies in the United States, Western Europe and Japan The cut is about 2 percent of 3M's global workforce of 75,000.

This isn't the end of the bad news. We will keep you updated on the latest.
