Petters pleads not guilty, trial starts in February

Former CEO and Twin Cities millionaire Tom Petters pleaded not guilty today on 20 counts in an alleged $3.5 billion Ponzi scheme against investors.
A federal magistrate judge also set the trial date for Feb. 9, 2009, according to Minnesota Public Radio.
Petters's attorney told MPR he doubts the trial will start on the set date because the case is so large and there is a lot of work to be done.
