Strib makes biggest year-over-year gains among top newspaper sites

The Star Tribune is making big gains online, according to Nielsen Online's ratings as reported by Editor & Publisher.

Their year-over-year increase for November, 265% to 3.5 million unique views, gives them the biggest online gains among the top 30 newspaper Web sites.

The big jump in traffic also led to the Star Tribune making it to No. 12 on the November list, up from No. 20 in October.
