Norm Coleman and Al Franken shared a very rare and unexpected moment of agreement Sunday during a battle for the U.S. Senate seat that has yet to conclude. Heck, they even shook hands (at least) twice and made each other half-chuckle. All in the name of Israel of course.
Coleman and Franken, both Jewish, spoke in support of Israel at Sabes Jewish Community Center in Minneapolis. Republican U.S. Rep. John Kline, Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton, Republican U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, and state House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher, DFL-Minneapolis
also spoke.
