Coleman's election trial kicks off today

We're perhaps in the end stretch of what has been a long election season for Norm Coleman and Al Franken. Coleman filed an election contest after the state Canvassing Board certified a 225-vote lead for Franken. Today, a three-judge panel starts to hear Coleman's trial where he will try to prove that the recount was bogus.
The trial will take weeks or even months depending on the evidence provided. The trial will determine the winner in the U.S. Senate race.

What should you expect out of this trial? Boredom, says the Pioneer Press.
There will be boredom.
"You can probably listen to the first 10 minutes and leave for the two to four days and not miss anything that was exciting," said Coleman attorney Joe Friedberg, who usually handles major criminal cases.The PiPress also has a list of all of the major players, including those representing each candidate.
