David Carr assures us (or not) that journalism is important

His video, posted on the New York Times Web site, documents a crazed Carr hiding in his creepy basement in a Joker mask and mumbling incoherent statements into a video camera. Is this what we need to do to get a job at the NY Times? We're on it.
