Rep. Keith Ellison spoke on Al Jazeera yesterday about the continuing violence in the Gaza Strip and the United States' continued support of Israel.
Ellison says there is a "legitimate Palestinian narrative that the world must hear" and the United States should choose to support peace rather than support a particular side of the fight.

This interview comes after Ellison's strong statement last Friday on the violence.
LeRoy Coleman, communications director for Sen. Coleman, said, "While Senator Coleman strongly believes that Israel has a right to defend itself, he calls on both sides to quickly work towards a lasting cease-fire. However, a cease-fire cannot just be a short term opportunity for Hamas to regroup."
The International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network, Women Against Military Madness and the Anti-War Committee launched a protest at Klobuchar's Minneapolis office, along with smaller ones at the offices of Coleman and Democratic Rep. Betty McCollum.
"I am not condemning what Israel has done as you have asked me to do," Klobuchar told them. "We need to work toward a cease-fire and I would like to see a cease-fire in place."
The war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip is the final blow to any Middle East peace process. Palestinians are being killed in alarming numbers while Hamas continues to fire rockets at Israel. The time has come for both sides to end the rockets, end the bombings, and end the restrictions on food, medicine and fuel -- all of which inflict intolerable harm on innocent civilians on both sides. The new U.S. president in partnership with European and Arab allies must work to leverage all available diplomatic and political pressure on all parties to end the violence and start a legitimate dialogue about a future path to real peace.

WELL NOW WE KNOW...... I would have thought he would have been more secretive about his muslim connections..........I would be willing to pay for a one-way ticket for him, straight to Gaza..
nothing new there Joe...
Ellison is a "former" Nation of Islam member, the guy had a trip to Mecca for the Islamic hajj paid for by an Islamist group known to be a subsidiary of the Muslim Brotherhood who wants to destroy America from within according to its own documents...and has repeatedly sided with Muslims and those connected with Islamic terrorism over and over...the guy even stated he forgot he was American when he was in the heart of Islam... not only that - Minneapolis has a tremendous problem with Somali Muslims who don't want to assimilate and are leaving to wage jihad in other countries - at least one blew himself up...Ellison hasn't said one word about it because he can't...if he condemns it he will be considered an apostate...until then Muslims have a puppet in office who also has co-sponsored the largest spending bill in US history to end poverty outside the US...all the while we are in the worst recession in decades...he's worried about giving your tax dollars to terrorists in the Middle East and Africa - if people just spent some time researching their 'elected' officials it would be very obvious...in this case Ellison is proving to be more anti-American each day - send him to Palestine and leave him there

Yes, thanks for the link, because now I can show this to all my fellow Jews who insisted that Keith Ellison was "pro-Israel" when in fact, here he is going on Al Jazeera and basically nodding in agreement as the host spouts ugly "Israel Lobby" conspiracy theories. Way to go, Keith. Gotta love Ellison - he buddies up to prominent Jews in the Twin Cities like Sam and Sylvia Kaplan, Phyllis Kahn, Frank Hornstein, and the American Jewish World by making them think he's going to be a "strong advocate for Israel," and then when Israel's in a conflict, he goes on Al-Jazeera and buddies up to a guy who's basically alleging that it's "dangerous" to speak out against Israel in America because of all those crafty Jews. Wolf in sheep's clothing. I said it at the time and I'll say it again. Keith Ellison is a phony and a con man.
