Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid once again spoke out on the Minnesota recount. He said the Senate Democratic leaders were ready to seat Al Franken as soon as April if the contest continues to drag on, reports Politico.

But that shouldn't happen, Reid says, because it would be wise for Norm Coleman to concede.

Reid in Politico: "We're feeling pretty confident," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said when asked in a news conference if he was prepared to make Franken a senator.

Reid then suggested that Coleman speak to Nevada Sen. John Ensign who decided to concede in his 1998 Senate race against Reid.

Ensign became a hero he says. And who doesn't want to be a hero these days, right?
