Reid says he won't try to seat Franken until trial concludes

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid seems to have come out with his final statement on seating Al Franken provisionally, according to Politico

Reid says he will wait for the ruling in Norm Coleman's election contest before considering a provisional seating.
More from Politico:
Reid previously has hedged on whether he would wait for the trial on the election results to conclude before deciding whether to seat Franken in the Senate. But on Tuesday, he said he was under the impression that a ruling would come down in the next two weeks, at which point he would decide whether the former comedian should become the 59th Senate Democrat.
"We have to let the trial get over with, that should be over in two weeks," Reid told reporters.
We suspect this means Reid would consider seating Franken provisionally if Coleman loses his court battle and decides to appeal. Would that be a fair action to take at that point in the court case?
