Metro Transit is doing their part to get the inebriated fools home safely tonight after their evenings of green beer and Guiness. Metro Transit will turn into a free drunk bus (and train) service after 6 p.m. tonight. Sober riders are welcome too. You probably wouldn't want to be out on the roads driving with the drunks anyway.
Details from Metro Transit:
No fares. No blarney. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day responsibly and get a free ride on any Metro Transit bus or train. So leave the car at home and drink a couple extra tonight in celebration. Just remember you probably still have to work tomorrow morning.
On Tuesday, March 17, you can ride free from 6 p.m. through the last scheduled trip on routes operated by Metro Transit, the Met Council, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority and Plymouth Metrolink.
