Wednesday was Jesse Langseth's lucky night. After failing to get the top votes from American Idol fan, the Minnesotan contestant got one more chance from the judges when they announced their wild card picks.

Langseth will be singing for survival tonight against seven other wild card winners for a spot in the coveted Top 12.

Minnesota lives!

The 26-year-old from Minneapolis sang "Bette Davis Eyes" last week. While she didn't squeak through during that round, judges are giving her another chance tonight.

More from the Pioneer Press:
Paula Abdul had this to say when revealing Langseth as one of the judges' picks: "We all put our minds together; this was a last-minute change and we all agreed on it. A very bluesy singer, a very unique twist in her voice and she is Jesse Langseth."

When her name was called, an elated Langseth ran to join host Ryan Seacrest on stage, saying she was "so ready" to sing for the judges again.
Here's her wild card competition: Anoop Desai, Ricky Braddy, Jasmine Murray, Matt Giraud, Megan Corkrey, Von Smith, and Tatiana Del Toro.

Watch tonight on FOX at 7 p.m.

Just as a reminder, here was her "Bette David Eyes" performance:
