Pawlenty makes Sweet 16, aiming to win it all in 2012

In conjunction with more exciting NCAA March Madness, National Public Radio has a 2012 GOP bracket poll running on their site for the next Republican candidate. Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a No. 2 seed beat out Tom Tancredo.

Next up for Pawlenty: Newt Gingrich. Can he beat the GOP giant?

His next big fights, if he makes it to the Elite Eight, will likely be Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin. On the other side of the bracket: Mitt Romney and Bobby Jindal.
