We were proud to say this alien-like armadillo babe didn't come shooting out of our privates (or stomach for that matter), but the Minnesota Zoo thought it was pretty amazing.

Based on the pictures provided by the zoo, we thought it looked like a naked dead piglet wearing a shell and helmet. Well now we've got a video of this creature and it didn't get any cuter.

It was the zoo's first birth of a three-banded armadillo infant and reportedly the third born in a United States zoo this year. The baby was born Feb. 19.
