Yesterday was the Minnesota Zoo's big debut of their two Bactrian baby camels. They might be living in captivity, but they are still completely unpredictable animals.

Leave it to the baby daddy to ruin everything.

When Samara and Sarah came out into public view with the rest of the camel family, their father couldn't have cared less about his precious daughters.

He just wanted more of those hot moms in his life.

The scene from the Pioneer Press:
'Things got a little hectic,' Northern Trail zookeeper Tim Hill said Thursday. 'The male was worked up after not seeing the females for a couple months.'

The 2,500-pound bull camel crashed into the calves on his way to their moms. The babies squealed and searched for their mothers. For the first time, they were on their own.

But they survived -- baby camels are as durable as rubber, Hill said.
