But, for me, I would have preferred to see the Twins trade two of their outfielders (probably Cuddyer and Young)for one home-run hitting bopper elite outfielder. They are very short on HR talent, beyond Kubel and Morneau. Maybe, in retrospect, letting Hunter go was an error.

Myles -- What: you don't like Joe Crede's 1 big home run? Trading Cuddy would be tough -- signed through 2010 with an '11 club option. Delmon, however, is just inked through this year and is making "just" about $1.15 mil. You may have something there.

Perhaps every club does that...just to have some talent (lack there of) hanging around to pinch hit? run? field? Not that intimate with other club's salaries...
