Irony: Petters Warehouse Direct 'crazy days'

Maybe this sign was a sad prediction of the days to come for Tom Petters and his merchandise empire. This photo was taken last summer outside the Waite Park Petters Warehouse Direct store.

Was it just the writing on the wall? The Warehouse Direct stores shut down last year when Petters Group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection following the allegations of a more than $3 billion Ponzi scheme against investors.
