There's at least one person who can't hold back their frustration and is chucking eggs at Norm Coleman and his house. Seriously, guys? While it's worth a small chuckle and essentially harmless, it's still criminal damage to property.

St. Paul police say they are investigating the egg-slinging incident at Coleman's home in the Crocus Hill neighborhood. The egg throwing occurred around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.

More from the Pioneer Press:
After eggs had hit the front door of Coleman's home in the 600 block of Osceola Avenue, a resident of the home saw a man who appeared to be in his 20s outside, said Peter Panos, police spokesman. The report didn't say who the resident was or whether Coleman was home, Panos said today.

The resident then saw the man throw a few more eggs, Panos said. The number of eggs thrown wasn't in the report, he said. The egg thrower wasn't caught, Panos said.
The egg chucking seems to be an ongoing problem at the Coleman house. Coleman said Wednesday that a young many biked past his home earlier this week and threw eggs at him.

If only this description resembled Al Franken. Then we'd have a real story.

In October, Coleman's home in addition to five others owned by members of the Minnesota delegation were vandalized with spray paint. Those cases are still unsolved. The other homes were those of Sens. Amy Klobuchar, Reps. John Kline, Michele Bachmann, Jim Ramstad and Keith Ellison.
