Former Stillwater student settles sexual harassment suit with Rob Lowe

We weren't exactly paying attention to the life of Rob Lowe, but this report was quite the eye opener. It's one thing to have a single nanny or employee go nuts, but Rob Lowe's string of "lying" employees just seems a little too suspicious to believe.

Jessica Gibson, 25, a former Stillwater High School student and nanny for Lowe's family, has settled her suit with the actor after alleging Lowe groped and exposed himself to her over the seven years she worked for his family.

That lawsuit came days after Lowe sued her for allegedly trying to blackmail his family if she wasn't paid $1.5 million.

People magazine reports that court records in Santa Barbara show Jessica Gibson, who grew up in Lake Elmo, and the Lowes have both requested that their lawsuits be dismissed. No details are available, the magazine said, and lawyers for both sides had no comment.

Lowe, 45, sued Gibson, 25, in April 2008, alleging she was trying to blackmail him and his family unless she was paid $1.5 million. Days later, Gibson sued Lowe and his wife, Sheryl, claiming he groped and exposed himself to her over her seven years working for the couple.

Rob Lowe has consistently denied the allegations.

This isn't Lowe's only problem with employees. He is still in a legal battle with another former nanny. She is claiming sexual harassment, he is claiming breach of contract. Oh, and there are a couple more. Check out the recap here.
