Nine people have been arrested but none have yet been charged, says Paul Gustafson of the Ramsey County Attorney's office. "I think it's a pretty good bet that we're not going to have nine murder charges," Gustafson says.

At about 1:34 a.m. Sunday, St. Paul police responded to a call about gunshots being fired near Western and Thomas avenues, close to the Moonlight Magic bar at 601 Western Ave. N. When police arrived, they found one man dead. Another was wounded, apparently by gunshots. He was taken to Regions Hospital. Later that day, a third man with gunshot injuries was brought in a private car to Regions. Police believe he was also involved in the fight outside the bar.
St. Paul Police Sgt. Paul Schnell said that the incident was likely gang related.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner has ruled Yang's death a homicide as a result of head trauma he suffered during an assault.
The identities of the two men who went to the hospital have not been released.
