Charges dropped against 6 alleged U of Minn. rioters

Charges against six people arrested during the riot near the University of Minnesota during the Spring Jam celebration April 26 have been dropped.

There were 12 arrests that night. Prosecutors dropped the charges because they lacked the evidence to prove the crimes were committed. Five were charged with unlawful assembly and one was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction.

One of the men who had his charges dropped said he was not participating and came to the scene to photograph the commotion. Check out the video below.
If any of these cases prove something, it appears that the police captured the wrong people. We've seen plenty of photos of students doing really idiotic things (like trying to tip a car) but police arrested an innocent photographer? Makes perfect sense. Glad the city can teach these freaks a lesson.
