Minneapolis police are looking for a man who reportedly tried to lure a 9-year-old girl into his car last week. The incident happened around 8 p.m. near W. 57th Street and Dupont Avenue S. The girl ran away and was not followed, but gave police a good description of the man.

Another protester during the Republican National Convention pleaded guilty to smash a bank building window. He could face 60 days in jail and likely pay restitution. The cost of that window? $17,000.

Minnesota has 4th highest high school grad rate
Education Week magazine analysis shows Minnesota has the fourth highest graduation rate for high school students in the country. About 79.2 percent of students receive their diploma on time compared to the national average of 69.2 percent.
