Earlier this week we pointed you to a Washington Times radio interview with Rep. Michele Bachmann. During the interview, her paranoia for all things in life took a new turn when she said she will refuse to complete the U.S. Census because she fears the data will be misused. Why? Because ACORN might help collect data.
Appropriately, Bachmann made MSNBC's 'Psycho Talk' segment. Check out the video below (via):
Broadsword:
They did not hire ACORN to do anything. They are one of more than 100,000 eventual partners that sign up voluntarily to help get out the word about the Census. They aren't getting any funding for being a partner and they will not be going door-to-door asking Census questions.
Not sure where you got the idea that the Census will ask you about every book you checked out or every phone call you made... Definitely not on the Census.
Here are the questions:

Emily, excuse me, but you are an idiot! Do you think it is a good idea to hire a group who is under indictment in twelve states, two of whose founders defrauded their own group of, I believe, a million bucks apiece? Remember, they did not earn this money. It was taken from taxpayers and given to them. Think Enron style corruption. And here are some of the questions: "You are ordered to tell us the title of every book you have checked out from the library between 2000 to 2010." "You are ordered to release all records of phone calls you made or received on cell phones to or from anyone outside the U.S. And furthermore, you are ordered to provide the names and address of all those with whom you spoke." Sort of like the Patriot act, eh...? But not to worry, it's the Left trampling on privacy and shredding the Constitution. We know how well that worked out in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Cechoslovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, East Germany, Tibet, N. Korea, ...am I boring you?
Thats right Michelle, what the heck do they need to know all that personal information for anyway? Read the (original) U.S. Constitution some time.
