Coleman concedes race, says court has spoken
Coleman is currently speaking to reporters at his St. Paul home.
Coleman said he called Al Franken after the ruling to congratulate him on the win. He said they had a personal and positive discussion about the race. He also spoke to Gov. Tim Pawlenty and told him he just "made his job easier".
"The court has spoken and it's time to look forward, not look back," Coleman said.
Coleman says he hasn't made decisions about his future and will address those questions at another time. He says he is "at peace" and wants to put closure on the race.
He would not say whether he still believes he received more legally cast votes, but that the Supreme Court has ruled on the issue and he doesn't want to discuss past debates on votes.
More to come.
