The fighters simulate both medieval style and "Lord of the Rings" fighting techniques, according to a story in MNDaily.
Don't scoff, folks. It's some serious stuff. Participants have to sign a medical release, and no one under 16 is allowed to play. This weekend's Rochester event, Seidde II, is put on by the the local Frozen North foam fighting society. Check it out.
