A "Rally for Democracy in Iran" protest is scheduled for noon today in downtown Minneapolis to show support for the Iranian people.

The organizers say they are also condemning the killing of civilians and demanding the release of political prisoners. They are asking participants to not bring signs or yell chants in support of a certain candidate. Flags are also being discouraged. Organizers say they want to just show support for people in Iran and not create a tense scene.
