Two men suspected of the crimes were charged Friday for the Sunday attack in addition to multiple others at light rail stations.
Andre Kimbrew and Antoine Evans, both 24, were arrested Thursday after two more victims said they were mugged in separate attacks at light rail stations.
One of the victims, identified only as A.A. in criminal complaints filed Friday in Hennepin County District Court, said he was walking away from the Franklin Avenue light-rail stop with grocery bags Thursday when he was attacked by two men. One suspect punched him until he fell to the ground. The other went through his pockets, taking $2 and a cell phone.Police used video surveillance at the light rail platforms to link them to Laszewski's attack last weekend. Another man on Sunday also said he was mugged near the bus stop at the light rail station.
About an hour and a half later, a woman at the light-rail platform at Lake Street said she was attacked from behind by two men who snatched her purse and ran away.
A witness gave a detailed description of the suspects, and police found Evans and Kimbrew within a few minutes of the second attack.
Evans and Kimbrew were each charged with four felony counts of first-degree aggravated robbery, plus one of attempted aggravated robbery.
