Gov. Tim Pawlenty is still meeting with reporters discussing his proposed unallotments to the Minnesota budget to close the $2.7 billion budget deficit following the legislative session.

The basics: His proposal includes a $300 million cut to local governments, $236 million from health and human services, $50 million for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, $50 million from the University of Minnesota, and a $1.8 billion deferment of payments to K-12 schools.

We are still reading through his proposals, but you can look at the numbers here.
