Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be holding a 2 p.m. news conference today "regarding his future plans". But it appears his future plans have already been leaked.

Minnesota Public Radio and WCCO are reporting that Pawlenty won't seek a third term as governor of Minnesota. That information comes for at least two sources close to Pawlenty who are aware of his plans for the press conference this afternoon.

Pawlenty was elected in 2002 and won re-election in 2006.

So what's next for Pawlenty? A run for president or a second-in-command spot alongside another Republican big shot? A run to take out Sen. Amy Klobuchar? Let the speculation begin!
