Star Tribune misattributes old Maxim story as new blog interview

A Star Tribune story today claims Brock Lesnar made inflammatory comments in "an interview posted Friday with Fightline.com" when in fact the interview with Lesnar was published all the way back on May 20, and it was with Maxim magazine. Whoops.

Considering that Fightline.com credits Maxim in the first paragraph, this is something of a reading comprehension fail. We have no doubt the Strib will quickly revise the story to reflect reality, and look forward to the convoluted sentence that editors will have to write to justify hyping this old interview. We're guessing it will involve some variation of the phrase: "... that recently began circulating on mixed martial arts blogs ..."
