Twin Cities under heat, sweat, misery advisory Tuesday

The advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Prepare to be overheated, sweating profusely, and probably avoiding physical contact outside of ice-cold showers. Unless you're blessed with an air conditioner and then we are just jealous.
Temps Tuesday will hit the middle to upper 90s with a dewpoint in the upper 60s. That means it's going to feel more like 100 to 105 degrees later in the day. The heat index will already be near 95 by mid-morning.
Common sense reminders (can't say we didn't warn you): Drink a lot of water, stay inside cool buildings, avoid the sun, and check up on people who could be at risk for heat-related illness.
