Two ambulances crash in one night, minutes apart
The first crash was in north Minneapolis around 3:15 a.m. The ambulance crashed into a taxi and the driver was cited for not yielding to an emergency vehicle. The cab driver and his two passengers were hospitalized.
The next ambulance, responding to the first crash, got in its own accident less than 15 minutes later in downtown Minneapolis. The driver of the minivan allegedly didn't have lights on and the driver was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving. The four paramedics were treated for minor injuries.
