Vikings beat reporter Judd Zulgad just received a phone call from Brad Childress who said he talked to Brett Favre and that he was informed that Favre is staying retired
Childress cited the daily grind both mentally and physically as part of the reason why Favre remained retired.
Earlier today, MinnPost wrote about a bulk shipment of official, high-quality Favre Viking jerseys selling dirt-cheap overseas. In retrospect, one wonders if it wasn't prophetic. Those jerseys now aren't worth the material they're printed on, except to collectors of might-have-been sports memorabilia.
