Mischke no-show notes: July 8, 2009

• That is the best comment I have ever seen. Very nice... "that's first rate-second rate prose" It seems like the person who wrote it- wrote from the perspective of several different personalities... all contained within a single blogger. one of which obviously thinks he or she is an audio enginer. I love Tommy too... but I am not concerned with his delivery. however... a question remains what do you mean Indian buffet ? Casino or the real deal ?

• Mischke. What its like to be without you on a wednesday? Its not that different. The sun came up and I went about my business. I sat still for several hours, as my mind created all kinds of detailed fantasies, all derived of my anxiety and fear. It happens. Later I took myself out for lunch at an Indian buffet. I arrived in the last 5 minutes of the buffet and found the food to be a little stale. I picked up my children, one of which had a fever, probably from teething. My older child inherited 2 goldfish from her camp. A magician had visited the children and left 2 goldfish behind. We don't have a fish tank so I used my mother's cookie jar. I don't know if she will be upset about this. I guess I didn't miss you, since, these days I don't seem to have time to turn on the broadcast. Granted, now that I think about it listening to you would have been more comforting than entertaining my own anxiety. Of course, I don't entertain anxiety everyday, and when I do, it usually snowballs until some inner maturity kicks in and demands I find a solution. And from this there is often more gained than lost. I don't live in Minneapolis anymore. I miss my father terribly. He lives is St. Paul. He doesn't answer the phone. If I did live in MPLS, I would try to convince you to let me handle the technical aspects of your show, so you could focus on the delivery. I think I would be good company. Also, Mischke, I find you admirable. Most weird people stay much farther below the surface. Im impressed with your willingness to integrate with mainstream culture in the face of the majority, as opposed to the guy who might just drink all day and offer his insightful anecdotes to other bar patrons. There is something clever yet humble about you. I could spend a long time thinking about but I haven't yet. I think I might love you Mischke. In a very genuine and very general sort of way. I love you like I love that there are trees and bird on the planet earth. I guess the word appreciate might be better suited then the word love. But I am one for love and so, let be said, love. thanks Mischke.
