Muffin tops unite: MOA bakes a 100-pound cupcake

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Sponge Bob Square Pants children's TV show, the Mall of America is doing the two things they do best: Make it big and unite the fatties. There is no better place in the United States to do such things.

The Mall has baked a 100-pound cupcake, which contains a whopping 131,000 calories and 500 servings. We can hear the muffin tops waddling there now. The giant cupcake is 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide and will likely break the 61-pound record the Mall set last year.

Unfortunately no one at the mall will get a taste of this luscious giant piece of goodness. The cupcake will be devoured by the pigs at Second Harvest Hog Farm in Cedar, Minn. Lame.
